The Hierarchy of the King

$90.00

Originally painted for an art auction to benefit The World Wildlife Federation.
“The King is in a constant battle for survival. Nature burns its home while humans hunt its family, invade its lands, and cut off its resources. The King will always stand up to protect its home and family and fight against the decimation of its species. The “royal lion”, used in many crests throughout time, symbolizes royalty, bravery, strength, ferocity, and valor. Now, this stance represents the constant fight to survive and defend its species. Despite the lion being the King, he is often far from being treated as one."
